Hello to all of the wonderful human beings who have made it thus far,

If you know me, you may already know that my dearest Mum has been battling Melanoma for the last year. As the story goes, a Spot (that was removed 8 years ago) became a Lump, this Lump became a Big Concern, and now, Stage 3 has become Stage 4. Her treatment has ranged from multiple extensive surgeries, immunotherapies, and additional radiation therapy will begin on Monday 16th May.

Every day it seems that we receive information that ranges from hopeful to heart-wrenching. Although, constantly, we are told "if this had happened even 5 years ago, the technology to treat you would not exist". MIA has been a key player in researching and developing new treatments for Melanoma, with progress advancing in leaps and bounds in recent years.
And of course, they receive NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING. Not a shred nor dime.

I’ve created this fundraising page to help Melanoma Institute Australia continuing their incredible work towards inching us closer to besting the horrid cancer that will likely affect YOU at some point in your life. Every 30 minutes, someone in Australia is diagnosed with Melanoma. This could be any of us.
