Story
Our wife, Mother and office manager for Conners Racing was diagnosed with Stage 3 and then Stage 4 Melanoma Cancer. She had immunotherapy treatment and her cancer has not been active for nearly 5 years now.
We have created this fundraising page to help Melanoma Institute Australia reach zero deaths from melanoma.
Australia has the highest rates of melanoma in the world. Melanoma is the most common cancer affecting 20 to 39-year-old Australians and one Australian is diagnosed with the disease every 30 minutes. It is estimated 1300 Australians will die from melanoma this year.
With your help, the funds we raise will support MIA’s world-class research, treatment, and education programs to save lives from melanoma. Melanoma research is also underpinning treatment for other cancers, including brain cancer.
